Ukraine Emergency Situation Report #14 – 12 December 2022

The ongoing war in Ukraine continues to take a toll on the lives of an estimated 14.5 million people in need of health assistance and an estimated 11.5 million people requiring protection assistance and services inside Ukraine. The estimated number of internally displaced people is 6.54 million, and more than 7.8 million refugees are recorded in European countries. There is a need for psychosocial support for the affected population, including those in areas where the Government of Ukraine regained control, who witnessed or experienced numerous human rights violations and ongoing hostilities.
