This report was commissioned as part of UNFPA’s efforts to ensure that approaches to engaging men and boys in gender justice are inclusive. In addition to presenting the global and regional contexts for research at the intersection of men and disabilities, the report focuses on the role of men and boys in four different frameworks: as caregivers; as partners; as clients, service users and survivors; and as allies and agents of change. The report concludes with extensive recommendations, an overview of disability-inclusive programming and an examination of how to engage men and boys at different stages of the life cycle.
