The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines were approved in 2006. This 2007 edition of Entre Nous aims to inform policy-makers and programme managers about the scale of the cervical cancer problem in Europe and present the future research of the HPV vaccine and the possible place of the HPV vaccine in the present national screening programmes.
