The @manwhohasitall is a popular parody account on social media. For two weeks in December 2022, UNFPA’s Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia is teaming up with the “manwhohasitall” — the identity of the person behind the account is unknown — to help counter outdated gender stereotypes.

The @manwhohasitall purports to offer “top tips for men juggling a successful career and fatherhood”. The posts turn the often ridiculous advice that’s given to working women on its head and directs it at men. The effect is both humorous and powerful in making readers question assumptions, stereotypes, unconscious biases and lingering patriarchal beliefs, traditions and customs. Close to a million people follow the “man’s” daily posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The joint social media campaign is part of UNFPA’s efforts to help create more gender equal societies in the region and was published in December 2022.
