Join UNFPA and University College London on Friday, 28 January at 10 a.m. CET for the launch of a new multinational survey on loneliness and social isolation among older people in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. 

A panel of experts from academia, civil society and international organizations will discuss the results of the survey and shed light on the effects of COVID-19 on loneliness with a view to improving the well-being and respect for the rights of older people as countries emerge from the pandemic and aim to build back better.
