The Russian version of the European Standards of Care for Obstetric and Neonatal Health and for Gynaecology, which were developed by the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG), will be launched during EBCOG’s 24th European Congress in Torino on 20 May 2016. The Russian translation was supported by UNFPA’s Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia to facilitate the Standards’ roll-out and improve the quality of care for women and their babies in the Russian-speaking countries of the region. The Russian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists also provided support for the translation of the Standards.
