UNFPA, with support from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), is organizing a webinar to showcase the experience of Sweden, Estonia and Slovenia in devising gender-responsive family policies, and the lessons they learned along the way. The event will inspire and provide concrete recommendations for governments, private sector and civil society actors who want to support their populations in balancing their paid work and unpaid care work responsibilities in order to support more inclusive, equal and prosperous societies.
Join us to listen to tested and evidence-based recommendations on how to tackle some of the obstacles and challenges in developing gender-responsive family policies from panelists including Maria Arnholm, former Swedish Gender Equality Minister, Merlin Murumets, Adviser at Department of Children and Families in Estonia, and representatives from the Ministry Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities in Slovenia, amongst others.
The webinar, "Gender Responsive Family Policies: Experiences from Sweden, Estonia and Slovenia on supporting families and gender equality" will take place on November 3rd, 2PM CET. Full agenda to follow shortly.
