The war in Ukraine has taken a toll on the lives of millions of women and girls who have fled Ukraine, on those displaced within the country, on those who have lost their homes, their families, their livelihoods and on those who are now the sole providers for their families.

In this updated Ukraine appeal for 2023, UNFPA seeks $99 million in funding for its humanitarian response in Ukraine, Moldova and neighboring countries to provide life-saving services for sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence prevention and response and psychosocial support to women and girls and other vulnerable people in need.
