The UNFPA Eastern Europe and Central Asia Regional Office (EECARO) is identifying potential partner organizations and networks, including Civil Society Organizations, Think Tanks, Intergovernmental bodies, Academic Institutions, UN entities, and Private Sector entities, to contribute to the achievements of the results of the 2026-2029 UNFPA Regional Programme for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Organizations that can add value by contributing to outreach, resources, technical expertise, research, advocacy or creating a conducive environment that aims to contribute to the realization of UNFPA’s four Strategic Plan outcomes:
- Ending the unmet need for family planning;
- Ending preventable maternal deaths;
- Ending gender-based violence (GBV) and harmful practices; and
- Demographic Change
are invited to express their interest in collaboration in the implementation of the EECA Regional Programme 2026-2029.
Selected entities will provide high-quality technical assistance, capacity development, research, advocacy, knowledge exchange and innovative solutions across our programme priority areas.
UNFPA welcomes institutions to submit the Expression of Interest for collaboration in English, using the designated template and sending it to eecaro.partnerselection@unfpa.org by 26 January 2026, enclosing the information listed below:
- Organization Profile (name, address, contact details, geographical coverage)
- Organizational Mandate or Mission
- Proposed collaboration areas
- Relevant organizational expertise and track record of similar work
- Proposed Modalities of Engagement
- Annexes (latest annual reports/ knowledge products)
Selected organizations may be invited to submit formal proposals.

Selection criteria will be the level of expertise in programme area, institutional capacity, financial management capacity, Commitment to PSEA standards, and Geographical relevance.
