UNFPA's Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Istanbul is seeking an Intern for its Human Resources Management sector. This is a six-month position, starting from January 2017.

The Human Resources Intern will report to the HR Strategic Partner in EECARO (Eastern Europe and Central Asia Region) and have a strong collaboration with the EECARO International Operations Manager. His/her duties and responsibilities will include general support of the effective and efficient functioning of the HR Strategic Partner (HRSP) function; supporting the HRSP in driving the alignment of HR Strategic initiatives, as detailed in the HR Strategy, with Regional/Divisional business needs; contributing to the efficiency of the Regional Office Human Resource management; supporting national recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, provision of input to job classification process, vacancy announcement, screening of candidates, and participation in interview panels; ensuring provision of effective communications support to the office; and supporting knowledge-building and knowledge-sharing.
